Considering it has now almost been 2 years since I last posted....holy busy-town!...I thought I would share a few projects that I have had documented recently. This first one is a guest room that needed a little extra punch. Check out the antique Honduran bed that I used as a luggage rack. Such a great find!
Spring is just around the corner, and I have to admit that I am NOT sad to see winter go. Although we don’t have the worst winter weather compared with other parts of the country, I love to spend time outside. And, it is cold enough in North Carolina that you’d rather stay indoors during the winter. So, as I sit here and daydream about the spring days ahead, I thought I would share with you some of my favorite outdoor living photos.
Outdoor spaces are becoming second living/family rooms to some people these days…myself included. I love to have our family dinner outside on nice evenings (before the mosquitos and humidity of summer strike). When we built our home, a covered porch was a key requirement. And, we have enjoyed many meals, football games and the like out there.
Indoor/outdoor fabrics have improved over the past several years, as well. Now, some indoor/outdoor fabrics are even being used inside, particularly in higher traffic areas (banquettes, barstools, etc.).
